A mail box can really say a lot about your personality. If you’re a traditional person then you would probably install a standard traditional mail box. If you’re a little artsy and like something different then you will probably want something a little more original and modern. I personally love rustic country decorations. I love wood and iron. If I wasn’t moving to the city I would totally have a barn style mail box. I have found a store that has several different style mailboxes to choose from. Red Hill General Store (www.redhillgeneralstore.com online and their two physical retail locations) sells rural and city mailboxes and accessories. They sell eleven different rural styles and three different city styles.

The accessories that they have for the mailboxes are:
• Rural mailbox mounting brackets,
• Mailbox replacement flags,
• The Flambeau Mailbox mounting board,
• The Achla Leafy Leaf mailbox bracket (it is very fancy)

The prices on the rural mailboxes range from $14.99 to $34.99. The city mailbox prices range from $13.99 to $19.99, and the accessories range from $4.49 to $75.99. The brands that Red Hill General Store carries are Solar, Flambeau, and Fulton. All of the mailboxes are Postmaster approved, weather resistant and they are made of steel and poly. In the rural mailboxes the Fulton mailboxes are offered in black, gray, green, and white, the Flambeau mailboxes come in black white green and a barn style, and the Solar Group mailboxes are black, green, gray, white, and a cedar wrap. They all have a red flag to alert your mail carrier that you have mail that needs to be delivered. The city style mailboxes are only offered in black and are Fulton and Solar Group brands. The different brands are all of average mailbox size.

The barn style mail box would be very cute at the end of any driveway, especially if you have a farm or a farm house (it is my favorite). The rural styles you can easily apply the magnetic decor to are the Fulton 26 Gauge Steel Rural Mailboxes, Fulton 24 Gauge Steel Rural Mailboxes, Solar Group Standard Rural Mailboxes, Solar Group Large Rural Mailboxes, Solar Group Jumbo Rural Mailboxes. The house number stickers stick very well to all of the rural mailboxes except maybe the barn style and the cedar wrap.

My mom and dad had a Solar Group Standard Rural Mailbox at the end of their drive way and on Thanksgiving one of our neighbors lost control and ran over it and messed it up really bad, but my dad really liked that particular one and so he bought the same exact one to replace it, hopefully nothing will happen to this one but if it does I am sure he will purchase another Solar Group Standard Rural Mailbox.

My husband and I are moving into a townhouse in a couple of weeks and we purchased the Solar Group Townhouse Wall Mount Mailbox to take with us to use. Even though the city mailboxes only come in black I am still pleased with the box. Besides, black goes with everything!
